Microsoft Business Centrals latest version has been released today, and OneNAV have already updated their first client to the new version. This has been possible due to the “Extention” technology, this allows us to upgrade the core system and keep their vital developments safe.
The new version comes with a host of changes, some of the biggest are around the modern clients useability. With the retirement of the Windows client, the browser client will be the main way users will access Business Central. One of the biggest limitations (and the most requested by ALL of our customers) was the inability of the browser client to save filtered list, we are happy to report that this is now enabled in Wave 2.
“The 2019 release wave 2 update eliminates the need to recreate commonly used filters by allowing users to permanently save filters as a view and combining personal views, system views, and those from extensions under one pane.”
